Integrative Flavors, manufacturer of Cooks Delight gourmet quality soup bases and flavor concentrates, is unaffected by the recall caused by the HVP (Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein) produced by Basic Food Flavors.
Fortunately none of our products will be impacted by the rolling recalls that are hitting the food industry in the wake of the HVP recall said Georgeann Quealy, President of Integrative Flavors. We have received numerous calls from existing customers who were understandably concerned about the safety of our products and we were very pleased to be able to ease their minds.
Hydrolyzed Vegetable Proteins are a very common flavor enhancing ingredient used in many foods including soups, sauces, gravies and dips. The effect the recall will have on the entire food industry is still unknown and will probably take days or even weeks to be fully revealed.
We have also received an unusual amount of calls from new customers who need immediate assistance replacing soup bases or other flavors that have been recalled commented John True, Director of Sales. We are very happy to be in a position to provide this kind of support for our customers and we have extended our production hours to accommodate the increase in demand for our products.

Georgeann Quealy, President of Integrative Flavors
Integrative Flavors has been in the business of making highly regarded food bases since the 1940s when we manufactured bouillon for military rations during World War II. Since that time Integrative Flavors has helped thousands of chefs and product developers achieve maximum flavor and consistency while reducing labor.
Today, Integrative Flavors continues to develop cutting edge products that exceed our customer’s expectations. Our continued success has outgrown our current facility. We will be breaking ground soon on our new state of the art food manufacturing facility.
